Dear Ewing, Dwana and John- I was shocked to just hear the sad news about Patsy. We were Facebook friends. I had not heard from her in a while, looked her up and found the information. My mom, Mary Pataky, lived next door to Patsy and Ewing in Houston. They became fast friends and remained so. Patsy always called around the holidays, asking how mom was and they would make a point of visiting mom in Nashville when making the trip to visit Ewing’s family in Clarksville. Such a special mom! She loved her kids so much! I hadn’t seen her in years, but she always made me feel so loved, and I adored her because she was Dwana’s momma and her biggest cheerleader! I will always remember many wonderful times with Patsy. I was blessed to share many years with her, and there was never a harsh word between us. She was fun and loved life. I know she loved me as I will always love her.
