Patsy Louise Mauldin Harris' Obituary
Patsy Louise Harris (Mauldin) was called home by the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the age of 87. She is reunited in heaven with her husband, William Hollis Harris; parents, Ruel and Wilma Mauldin; brothers, Ruel (Sonny) and William (Billy); and sisters, Mary, Ruby, and Sarah. She is survived by her children, Becky Brown and Donnie Harris; granddaughters, Jennifer and Andrea; grandsons, Braedon, Landon, and Aidon; great granddaughters, MacKenzie and Madeline, and several nieces and nephews.
Pat was born in Dallas, TX to Ruel and Wilma Mauldin and lived in Dallas for most of her life. She graduated from North Dallas High School in 1955. She married her husband, Navy Veteran William Harris, on July 15, 1961. She worked in the JC Penney administrative offices for 15 years where she made several longtime friends. Pat was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Dallas, where she volunteered working with seniors at the Happiness House. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spent many years caring for them when they were young. Pat enjoyed playing sports when she was young and watching sports later in life, particularly the Dallas Cowboys. She spent the last seven years of her life at Christian Care Senior Living in Mesquite, TX where she became friends with several residents and employees. Pat will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who valued family and faith above all else
