Patsy Ruth Johnson's Obituary
Patsy Ruth Johnson, born on June 15, 1937, in McKinney, Texas, to Jewel and Fannie Davidson, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, in her hometown of McKinney. Patsy was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Johnson, her son, James Brent Johnson, and her parents, Jewel and Fannie Davidson, as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Patsy is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Karen McEuen, and husband Billy Don of Atoka, Oklahoma; her daughter, Rena Redin of Sumner, Texas; her son, Charles Keith Johnson of Anna, Texas; her son, Christopher Scott Johnson, and wife Sam of Westminster, Texas; and her brother, Terry Davidson of Lake Tawakoni, Texas. Patsy was also a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Patsy had a passion for tending to her roses, working on puzzles, and enjoying word find games. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life.
Her warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Patsy’s legacy of love and devotion to her family will forever be cherished.
A visitation is scheduled for September 3rd, 2024, from 12pm-1:30pm at Restland Funeral Home.
A graveside committal service is scheduled immediately following the visitation at 3pm at Restland Memorial Park in the Garden of Veterans II.
