Obituary for Patsy Jean Rhodes
Friday December 11, 2020 Patsy Jean Rhodes, 86, of Mesquite, Texas took her last breath on this earth and her first breath in Heaven. Born December 8, 1934 to Clyde and Birdie Wortham of Dallas, Texas.
After graduating Forest Avenue High school in Dallas, Texas she married her sweetheart Wayne Dean Bodensteiner. They had one son Robert Wayne Bodensteiner.
Patsy entered the banking industry after her divorce where she reunited with Charles Foster Rhodes, Jr. They married and she enjoyed a career in banking which ended with her retirement from the Prestige Credit Union of Dallas.
After the death of Charles, Patsy enjoyed volunteering for the SPCA of Texas, travel, being a member of the Red Hat Divas of Richardson and spending as much time as she could with her family.
She is survived by her son Robert Wayne Bodensteiner and wife Wanda, great grandson Chris Bodensteiner of Mesquite, Texas. Granddaughter Velvet Williams, great grandson Conner Thomas, great grandson Gage Bodensteiner and wife Noemy, great great grandson Milo Bodensteiner all of Wills Point, Texas. Her sister Beverly Miller of Bonham, Texas and nephew Deric Miller and wife Linda.
Family is asking for donations to American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers
Graveside services was at Restland Funeral and Cemetery Dallas, Texas.
