Patty Jean Spera's Obituary
Patty Jean Spera, age 92, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2025. Born on July 6, 1933, to Rose and Jonas Graber, Patty lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication to her family and community.
In 1956, she married the love of her life, Dominic Spera, with whom she shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and enduring love. Patty will be remembered as a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a proud homemaker whose kindness touched everyone around her.
Beyond her family life, Patty was a successful real estate agent and an active member of Saint Mark’s Church in Bloomington, Indiana. Her faith guided her throughout her life, and she generously supported several charitable organizations, always seeking to help those in need.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dominic Spera. Patty is survived by her sons, Gregory and Mark Spera, and their wives, Jennifer and MaryAnn. She was a cherished grandmother to Kristyn, Kandice, and James, and a loving great-grandmother to Lincoln and Isaac—with great anticipation for the arrival of baby Nash, her third great-grandchild, due any day now.
Patty’s legacy of love, generosity, and grace will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
