Paul Thomas Prochaska

Paul Thomas Prochaska, 83, of Savannah, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025.
Born in Enid, Oklahoma, Paul was the son of Joseph and Silva Prochaska. He graduated from Pond Creek-Hunter High School in 1960 and earned an associate’s degree from Northern Oklahoma College in 1967. Paul proudly served in the United States Army as a Military Policeman from August 24, 1961, to August 10, 1964.
Paul was a man of many passions—he loved hunting, gardening, and had a lifelong fascination with the railroad. He was a proud owner of Paul’s Phillips 66 for 10 years and enjoyed working on vehicles. Above all, he cherished his family and will be remembered for his great sense of humor, warm soul, and the joy he brought to those around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Tamera Odom; his son, John Prochaska, and John’s wife, Traci Prochaska; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Raymond Prochaska and Martin Prochaska. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Karolyn; his daughter, Tereasa Kirkwood; his son, Jerold Prochaska; his siblings Mike Prochaska, Theresa Prochaska, and Marie Lainez.

Visitation: Restland Funeral Home, October 6 from 6:00–8:00 PM
Funeral Mass: St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, October 7 at 10:30 AM
Graveside Service: Restland Cemetery, October 7 at 12:20 PM
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.
