Pauline Eula Murray's Obituary
Was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, J.D. Murray. Polly was born November 20, 1924 in Arkinda, AR and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Sue Jackson of Granada Hills, CA; J Donald and Qing Murray of Richardson, TX; brother Billy R. Ruff of Hooks, TX; 7 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Polly retired from Rockwell International after 34 years/ 7 months of service. Prior to this, she worked 5 years with Civil Service in Texarkana, TX. She was Past Matron, Order of the Eastern Star, #921, Richardson, TX; Past President, Dal-Rick Book Club, Richardson; numerous church committees including Finance (having not-arized documents for purchase of new church property); Chairman, Bereavement Committee; Secretary, Senior Adult Council; Munday Funday; LLL Program Director; member of Sr. Adult Choir, long time member of Ruth Class, and Public Relations/ Program Chairman, AARP #1651, Richardson. Polly also enjoyed her ministry to friends throughout the community who needed help in getting to/from the doctor, rehab treatments, grocery store, ect. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home, her Memorial Service will be at 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Heights Baptist Church, 201 W Renner Road, Richardson TX.
