Peggie Wright's Obituary
Peggie Wright went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2022. She was born in Dallas and grew up here. She was married to her loving husband Charlie for 58 years and they resided just outside of Dallas. Peggie worked at Allied Belting for over 40 years as a bookkeeper until she retired at the age of 75.
Peggie and Charlie were members of an RV club for many years taking trips all over the United States. Peggie loved to crochet, cross stitch, sew, work crossword puzzles, play dominoes as well as playing the piano and organ.
Peggie was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church for over 35 years, then moved to Hampton Road Baptist Church until her passing. Peggie was an active member of the church, singing in the choir, leading Sunday school classes and attending mission trips with the youth.
Peggie is survived by her daughters, Kathy Hubbard, Karen Wright (Elwood) and Linda Green (Gene). Her grandchildren, Buddy Wright (Jill), Mark Wright (Candy) Kristina Rogers (Zack), Kathryn Hubbard, John Hubbard (Courtney), Julie McDonald (Joseph), Michael Wright (Tara), Paul Blundell (Lori), Tim Blundell and Amanda Coull (Austin) and 11 great grandchildren.
Peggie is preceded in death by her husband Charles Wright, sons John and Jim Wright, her brother Jack, sisters; Ruth Kennedy and Betty Fannin and son in law, Bill Hubbard.
While Peggie will be missed by all who loved her, we know she is whole again and at peace in the arms of her creator.
