Peggy Joyce Ward's Obituary
Peggy Joyce Garvin Ward passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born July 1, 1935 to the late WP and Bernice Garvin in Dallas, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas Gene Ward and daughter Kim (Travis) Crossland of Seminole, Texas and son Tom (Chea) Ward of Rockwall, Texas granddaughter Kendall (Clayton) Harrison of Hobbs, New Mexico and great grandchildren Tate and Reese Harrison of Hobbs, New Mexico.
Peggy was an animal lover and enjoyed her time with the Woodrow Wilson Girls Club. She loved having her family together especially during the holidays. Listening to swing music, watching the birds and never missing an episode of her soap operas were all things that made her smile. As a former long term employee of McCann Erickson Advertising Agency, she enjoyed the friendships and knowledge she gained during her employment with the group.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 4 at 10AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212 or at give.spca.org
