Pete Augustus' Obituary
AUGUSTUS, PETE Age 81, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on November 19, 2013. He was born in Zakynthos, Greece and was a resident of Dallas and Plano since 1960. Pete was a self-taught culinary master. His passion for cooking food and the restaurant business became his hobby for over 40 years. He owned many restaurants including 505 Coffee Shop, Augustus Brothers Steakhouse, Seashell Restaurant and Augustus Restaurant. Pete was an awesome Papou as he proudly adored his beautiful grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beautiful son, Spiro Dan; parents, John and Angeliki; brother, Dan; sisters, Maria, Kevi and Demetra. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Keve; daughters, Angelika, Maria and her husband, Dean, and Nikoletta and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Samantha, Pete and George; brother, Tony and his wife, Athena and numerous loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The Trisagion will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 7:15 PM and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM both at The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. In lieu of flowers, please make tributes to The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, the Holy Trinity Academy or a charity of your choice. May Pete’s memory be everlasting.
