Phi Hung Nguyen's Obituary
Our Father, Nguyen Phi Hung, was born April 17th 1952, in Can Tho Vietnam. He served in the military, and fought for his county during the Vietnam War. As a provider, he escaped as a refugee, when we were sponsored and accepted by Shirley and Ken, residing in Ames, Iowa.
A beloved husband to Huynh Thi Le, father to 5 children (Tri Huu Duong, Trinh Tuyet Duong, Mai Thuy Duong, Hai Linh Truong Duong, and Nam Quoc Duong), and a host to 17 grandchildren.
Throughout Nguyen Phi Hung life, He had bravery and was strong willed, dedicated to provide a life for his family. He touched the hearts of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to always lend a helping hand to those in need. Surrounded by his Buddhist religion, he practiced serenity, eternity, and life after death. His PGHH community still, till this day, stands by his side and prays for his after life.
During this time of mourning, let us cherish the memories we shared with Nguyen Phi Hung and find peace in the profound impact he had on our lives. May his legacy live on in our hearts eternity, we salute you.
