Philip Nolan Caffey's Obituary
Philip Nolan Caffey, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Richardson, Texas. He was born October 7, 1949, in Dallas, Texas to his Mother Margaret Ida Page and Father Nolan Odes Caffey.
Philip in his adolescence was a member of Boy Scouts of America. He also had his own paper route. He graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1968.
He was fun-loving and adventurous. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, scuba diving and gold prospecting. He took many trips with gold prospecting associations to New Mexico, Colorado and California. He enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren. He spent a lot of time with Robert Page and his family, enjoying camping, floating the river, trips to the gun range and visiting various place on vacation.
Philip retired from C.W. Appliance and Repair after 33 years of service. He also served as Secretary and State Director of the GPAA Gold Prospecting Association of the North East Chapter of Texas.
Philip had acknowledged a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and he has now entered His presence in peace.
Philip is survived by son, P. Keith Caffey and wife Patricia of Broken Bow, OK; Grandchildren Landen Caffey and wife Kylie with baby Kalhen Cole of Redland, OK; Lakken Caffey of Broken Bow, OK; sister Judy Burroughs and husband Tom of Lewisville, TX; nephews Michael Burroughs, Steven Burroughs and Bill Burroughs; cousin Robert Page and wife Cindy of Clifton, TX and special companion Pat Havens of Richardson, TX as well as a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nolan Odes Caffey, mother, Margaret Ida Caffey and nephew, Jason Burroughs
He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him
