Polly Peck's Obituary
Polly Peck was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, October 29, 1935. She raised four sons that were dear to her. She is preceded in death by her sons Michael Brewer and Danny Brewer. She is survived by her sons Patrick Brewer and Casey Jones.
Polly lived in Garland, Texas for over 50 years where her home was not just for her children but became the home of many friends and family throughout the years. Many have spent time in her house and at her table. She believed there was no other way to love a child than to spoil them.
Polly was a devoted granny to her 5 grandchildren: Brandon Brewer, Jeremy Brewer, Shannon Hughes, Josh Brewer and Natalie Ochoa. In her eyes, they were flawless and could do no wrong.
In almost 40 years as an ER nurse at Baylor Hospital of Garland, she was considered a legacy and known as the “Oldest LVN” among her ER family. Polly eventually retired in 2003 and greatly looked forward to spending more time with her family and great-grandchildren that she adored; Elijah Hughes, Elizabeth Hughes, Jacob Messman, Owen Hughes, Charlotte Brewer, Ethan Ochoa, Emma Lou Brewer and Delaney Ochoa.
Polly enjoyed gathering with family over meals at her home, taking care of people she considered family and talking, whether over the phone or over coffee. Her long conversations were a treasure in this world that will be missed.
