Rachel "LaVerne" Hall's Obituary
On the morning of August 20, 2015 LaVerne went Home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. LaVerne was born in Moody, Texas on June 18, 1927. She was sixth oldest child of John and Janie Linder out of eight children. LaVerne married the love of her life, Lloyd D. Hall on June 3, 1951 and raised three blessed children. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. LaVerne loved her family unconditionally and sacrificially. Many wonderful times were shared and memories made at mom’s home over home cooked meals. LaVerne is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd D. Hall; parents, John and Janie Linder; brothers, Hubert, Clarence and Harold; and sisters, Lucille, Marie and Mildred. She loved antiquing and repurposing a treasured item found in the most unusual places. LaVerne is survived by daughter, Pat Kottmeier and husband, Richard; son, Jerry Hall and wife, Debby; daughter, Deb Puls and husband, Randy; and grandsons, Matt Kottmeier and wife, Dayna and Jeff Kottmeier and wife, Michelle, Jim Puls and wife, Kamie, Trisha Smith and husband, Luke; great grandchildren, Jessica, Trystan, Meagan, Renner, Audrey and Scarlett; and great great granddaughter, Ellie; sister, Louise and husband, Bill Williams; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
