Rachel Nadine Nichols Holman, born December 27, 1923 in Moreland, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord October 26, 2015 in Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Donald Albert Holman; daughter Joyce Marie; great granddaughter Sandra Kay; parents, Charles and Eva Nichols; and brother, Charles Forest Nichols. She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Baldwin of Balch Springs, TX; Mary Hicks and husband Travis of Garland, TX; two sons, Donald L. Holman and wife Eleane of Gulfport, MS; Charles A. Holman of Dallas, TX; twin sister, Mary Ladine Hope of Mabank, TX; sister, Joan Gatlin and husband Melvin of Christiana, TN; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-¬grandchildren; three sister-in-Iaws, Lenna Vee Holman of Sikeston, MO; Betty Holman of Royse City, TX; Ruth Sims of Clarksville, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Don Hicks officiating. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
