Retha J Widlund's Obituary
Retha Jean Widlund was born to Donovan and Anna Smith in Kansas City, Missouri on January 31, 1931. She retired from State Farm Insurance as Secretary to a Regional Director. She enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises, playing cards and board games, reading, and loved entertaining friends and family. She also stayed busy making Christmas stockings and tree skirts for family and friends. For many years she enjoyed square dancing with several different square dance clubs. Retha will truly be missed by all that loved her.
She is survived by her daughter Denise Karriker of Euless; son Brian Adams of Richardson; 1 granddaughter, Renee Suggs of Euless; 2 grandsons - Jason Suggs of Waco, and Jeremy Adams of Providence Village; 3 great-granddaughters - Avery Adams, Addie Adams, and Aria Adams; and 4 great-grandsons – Jordan Drake, Cole McFrazier, Marcus Adams and Josh Adams.
