Reuben Estrello's Obituary
Reuben Estrello, 68 left us on April 14,.2022 to be with Our Lord.
Reuben was born on October 13, 1953 in Ganado, TX to Victor Estrello and Marie T. Estrello. He moved to Dallas TX with his family while still a young child.
While in High School at age 15, Reuben started doing amateur boxing. He also maintained a job. He always motivated family , friends and neighbors to learn how to box. In 1981 at age 27, Reuben joined the army where he served for 8 years. Reuben became father of two sons Reuben (Junior ) Estrello and Eric Estrello.
While in the army he became a boxing coach. During his boxing career he became a professional boxer and won the "golden gloves award" 3 times after leaving the army.
Rueben married his wife Norma Cereceres in March of 2001. In June 2007 Reuben and Norma moved to Ravenna, OH where they currently live.
Reuben was very well known everywhere he went because he was very outgoing and made friends very easily. Always wanting to talk to the veterans in German.
Reuben loved to dance and enjoy his time. He always made sure to tell everyone he met that he had been in the Army and was proud to be an American , Rueben always made sure he would always have his American flag raised high at home.
Visitation for Reuben Estrello will be Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe 2215 Ross Ave, Dallas, TX 75201
