Rev. Anna Lisa Butler's Obituary
Lisa was born, January 26, 1966 in Baltimore, MD. to Rosette Britt Cromwell and Jerome Cromwell.
Lisa attended the Baltimore City Public Schools, graduating from Walbrook High School in 1984.
After high school, Lisa entered Miles College in Birmingham, Alabama. and entered into military service 1987, stationed Fort Carson, Colorado, further tours until discharged were Panama Vity, Lawton, Oklahoma (Fort Sills) with Basic Training in Fort Dix, New Jersey.
Prior to military enlistment, Lisa received her License to Preach in the New York /Washington Annual conference. Further Ordination of Deacon and Elder with Full Connection in the Eighth Episcopal District, under the leadership of Senior Lawrence Reddick, III.
Serving with the Board of Chrisian Education and Formation as Connectional Children's Ministry director, under the leadership of General Secretary, Dr. Carmichael Crutchfield.
Shirley Wright, Lee Brown, Earl Flanagan, Brenda Flanagan, Michael Cromwell and Darryl Cromwell proceeded her in death.
Lisa leaves to mourn her life; her husband, Rev. Arvin, Regina, Matline, Marvin (Vickie), Preston (Kathy) and Myra (Dean) Butler. her siblings - Patricia, Priscilla, Eugene, Peter Glenn, Ray Flangan, Roselyn, Gary and Perry Cromwell. Son, Kendrick (Courtni), Grandchildren, Elisha and Isaiah Butler. Her God children, Jordan Phillips, Giselle Kone, and Rahin Kone of Las Vegas, Nevada and Talise Taylor of Rowlett, Texas. A host of Colleagues, Friends and a family Village that expands thru out the connectional.
