Richard Bartis Hightower's Obituary
Richard Bartis Hightower was born July 25, 1961. He was the youngest of 2 children born to John and Sue Hightower. Richard grew up in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas and attended White Rock Elementary, Lake Highlands Jr HIgh, and Lake Highlands HIgh School. He attended Texas Tech University where he was a member of Kapa Sigma Fraternity. Richard loved attending the annual BBQ with the Kappa Sigs and watching Texas Tech Basketball games with them. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Texas Rangers fan, as well as a Texas Tech Red Raider fan. Richard is survived by his mother, Sue Hightower; sister, Jill Hightower Price and brother-in-law, Kirk Price; along with a cousin, Lee Begelfer and nephews Joel Price and Kevin Price. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
