Richard Thomas Lochry's Obituary
Lochry, Richard Thomas went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 3, 2011. He was born July 11, 1920, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1942. He served in the Navy, during World War II as a First Lieutenant. He was preceded in death by his brother Bill and his beloved wife, Lonnie, after a marriage of 50 years. During his time in Indiana, he built and ran the Arlington Theatre. He influenced countless young men through his work in little league baseball. He served as President of the National Alliance of Theater Owners and the Indianapolis Gyro Club. During his time in Texas, he worked for Cinemark Theaters and Liberto and Blevins Concessions. He was a proud Texas Rangers fan and a lifetime NRA member. He is survived by his sons, Tom and Jim Lochry, daughter-in-law, Bonnie Lochry, four grandchildren, Heather, Gretchen, Allison and Ryan, and two great grand children, Sadie and Luke. Visitation with the family is scheduled from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9th at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10th, at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visitation Nurses Association Meals on Wheels.
