Robert Earl Benson's Obituary
BENSON, ROBERT EARL Robert Earl Benson went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 2, 2008. He was 49 years old. Bob will be dearly missed. Bob was born on September 29, 1958 in Dallas, Texas and spent his entire life in Dallas. Bob was known for his computer, web design, and software expertise. He was self-taught and worked in this field for several companies until he formed his own business ‘ Benson Computer Solutions. Bob is survived by his wife, Lea Ann Benson; 3 children and 3 grandchildren: son, SGT. James Benson and wife Ashley; grandsons, Joey and Anthony; daughter, Rachel Benson Berry and husband, Jonathan; granddaughter, Madison; and son, MM3 David Benson. Bob is also survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters and 5 nieces and 1 nephew: Brother Jim Benson and wife, Kim; niece, Leslie Benson; sister, Susan Benson Cordova and husband, Robert; nieces, Andrea and Lauren Cordova; Sharon Benson Jones and husband, Chris; nephew, Carmichael Jones and niece Crystal Jones. Visitation will be 6:00 ‘ 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held 4:00 PM, Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
