Robert Donald Fitzgerald's Obituary
Born to William and Edna Fitzgerald on Feb. 2, 1930 in Dallas, TX. He went home to his master on Dec. 21, 2008. Robert had a wonderful life for 78 years here on this earth. He was precede in death by his older sister, Betty. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Wanda Landess and older brother, Norman. After he finished A&M in 1951, he went into the Navy and fought in the Phillipines. He married his friend and loved one, Wanda, in 1971 and they had a wonderful life together. They lived in Farmer’s Branch, TX and went to Josey Lane Church of Christ in Carrollton. Robert taught in the Oak Cliff school district before going to work for Ford Motor Co. He will be missed by all. Service will be on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 12:30 pm in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel.
