Robert Charles Jones' Obituary
JONES, ROBERT CHARLES age 66, of Richardson Texas, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012, in Garland, Texas. He was born on April 23, 1946, in Paragould, Arkansas to Alfred and Kathlyn Jones. Bob married Mary Alice Martin in Stigler, Oklahoma on October 25, 1966. He attended the University of Arkansas, where he studied electrical engineering. He was a resident of Richardson, Texas for the last 32 years. Bob was employed by Fujitsu Telecommunications as Director of Corporate Quality until his retirement in 2009. He was a member of Arapaho Road Baptist Church. Bob enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, amateur radio, SCUBA diving, and photography. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Alice; and their two sons, Ken Jones and wife, Lisa of Garland, Texas and Steve Jones and wife, Ashley of Murphy, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Austin, Sarah, Abby, and Alec. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jimmy. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012, at Arapaho Road Baptist Church, 2256 Arapaho Rd in Garland, Texas.
