Robert William Orsini's Obituary
Robert William Orsini, born November 2, 1952, from Roselle Park, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, in the arms of his wife and surrounded by family. Rob was the beloved son of Anthony and Dorothy Orsini.
Rob attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. A true sportsman, he played both football and baseball in college and was an avid golfer throughout his life.
Following graduation, Rob built a long and successful career in the electronics industry, owning and operating companies in both the United States and Mexico for over 35 years. As recently as January, Rob was recognized for his outstanding contributions and leadership in the field.
Rob had a deep commitment to giving back to the community and to charitable causes, particularly those supporting animals. He co-founded Wine To The Rescue with his wife, where he served as Chairman of the Board and one of its largest supporters. His passion was ensuring that all innocent animals received the help and love they deserved.
Above all, Rob cherished his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cyndi; his sisters, Diane DePalma and Carol Brownridge; sisters-in-law, Cathie Marks (Alan) and Dana Austin; and his nieces and nephews: Todd Johnson (Sandra), Dr. John DePalma (Jeanette), Dr. Anthony DePalma, Dr. Laura Englert (Zach), Dr. Vincent DePalma (Tara), Tyler Sechler, Taylor Pulfer (Randall), and Jay Austin (Cassidy), along with 13 great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother David, and brothers-in-law Dr. John DePalma, Tom Brownridge, Lenny Austin, and Ron Austin.
Rob was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was marked by tireless work, unwavering compassion, and a generous heart. His passing leaves a profound void, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all he touched.
Though Rob’s physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit continues to inspire. May his memory be a blessing, and may we honor his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
