Robert Wilkinson's Obituary
On Friday, August 9, 2019, Robert Wilkinson passed away in his home at the age of 93. Robert was born in Mineral Wells, Texas to Roy and Cora Mae Wilkinson. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Doris Walker Wilkinson, for 72 years. They raised two daughters, Pam Beaty and Trina Johnson.Robert touched many, many lives throughout his lifetime. He and Doris were members of the Rambling Sams Club for over 30+ years. He loved traveling and created many memories with lifelong friends. Robert was a leather crafter making various items including a saddle. His fellow church members at Collin County Cowboy Church requested Bible covers, belts and many other items. Robert retired as a Real Estate Appraiser with the certifications of MIA and SRA. He was a member of the East Fork Masonic Lodge having served in many positions including Worshipful Master.Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Marietta Nicks. He is survived by his wife, Doris Wilkinson; daughters, Pam Beaty and Trina Johnson (Rich); nine grandchildren, Dawn Stevens (David), Robert Beaty (Mashonie), Michelle Campbell (Kenny), Katie Anson, Natasha Cadenhead (Chris), Carole Brooks (James), Brandon Beaty, Courtney Smith (Nathan) and Dani Beaty; twenty-two great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.Robert’s funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 2:30 pm in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Tx. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery, Holy Family. A visitation will be on Tuesday evening in the Memorial Chapel from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.Funeral arrangements for Robert Clifton Wilkinson have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
