Moon Wish by Roberto Della Sera
The moon smiles while the girl sings, "Promise me you'll never die" And as the moon shines her eyes sleep, Through the sweet night, through the white wish. As time runs by, a silhouette slips in, across the shadowy threshold of the silent house. Still smiling the moon found the girl asleep: "I will never die" Sailing into the night, she kisses her eyes, And looks awhile upon the white rest, upon A blue promise of a thousand years. The girl wakes up when the moon leaves, She sings, the moon weeps. It was only a whisper of a magic light, And enchanted promise of a moonlight wish, A farewell of nearby dreams.
