Mr. Roger Flesch's Obituary
Roger Leo Flesch (87) of Richardson, Texas passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023. Roger was born on July 17, 1935, the oldest of four brothers in Platteville, WI. Roger worked for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for 38 years. In 1959 he married the love of his life, Janice Louise McCluskey, and they were married for 64 years.
He is survived by his three children and their families, daughter Linda Marie White (husband James), daughter Nancy Elizabeth Gibson (husband Jay), and son Kevin Michael Flesch (wife Elaine). Roger is also survived by his awesome grandchildren David, Patrick (wife Amber), Lee, and Sarah (fiancé Reese); and two great grandchildren Porter and Gwen.
Roger was a veteran in the United States Army, an eucharist minister, and a former Grand Knight (KofC #8954). Along with his love of God and family, Roger was an amazing fisherman and sports fan. He loved bass fishing and cheering for the Texas Rangers. He also never passed up a chance to see and photograph every waterfall and mountain possible.
In celebration for his life and his Catholic faith, a memorial will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Knights of Columbus Council #8954.
