Ronald Carl Petty's Obituary
Ronald Carl Petty, age 62, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Arlington, Texas. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
Ronald was born October 10, 1960, to Weldon Earl Petty and Ilene Mae (Groves) in Lubbock, Texas. On August 30, 1980, he married Denise Slaughter in Dallas, Texas. He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, playing his guitar but most of all he loved spending time with family, friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four grandparents, brother, Donald Petty and stepbrother, Danny.
Survivors include his loving wife, Denise Slaughter Petty; daughter, Brandi Petty; brother, Dave Parkhurst; stepbrothers, Mike, Chris and Steve Slaughter; sister, Shonnie Petty Kleinhenz; one grandchild, Reynor Hanson; nieces, Shelly, London, Kymberlee, Khloe, Kya, Kynslee, Lisa, Peewee and Amanda; nephews, Donny Jr., Bryan, Kevin, Tyce, Matthew, Jack, Kallin, Bubb and Donald III.
Visitation for Ronald Carl Petty will be Friday, September 22, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be Friday, September 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
