Ronny Lynn Sharp's Obituary
Ronny Lynn Sharp age 72 passed away on July 28, 2023, at Victoria Gardens of Frisco, Texas.
He was the husband of Denise Robertson Sharp. They shared 41 plus years together.
Born in Malvern, Arkansas on December 12, 1950. He was the son of Elmer Sharp, and Bertha Ledbetter.
Ron graduated from Irving high school in 1969. Immediately after graduation, he joined the United States Navy and within a month he traveled to San Diego, California for boot camp. Ron was stationed in Iwakuni, Japan at the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni where he worked with the Navy sea and air rescue. After two years of active duty in Japan, He traveled back to Irving. He spent the last two years of his time in the Navy in the Reserves.
Ron worked for Southwestern Bell telephone Co. where he later met Denise Dewitt, they married November 27, 1981. In 1985 they started their Business, New Communication Concepts. Where they retired after 29 Years.
Ron loved his church family, Allen Heights Baptist Church. Where he was a long-time member.
Ron is survived by his wife Denise, son Michael Dewitt, and his wife Amanda, children Matthew, Nathan, Jonathan, daughter Melinda Keen, and husband Nick, their children Lainey and Emmy, two daughters from first marriage Angela, and Katie.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James and Jerry, and a niece Sherry Lousie.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Restland Memorial Chapel. 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas. There will be no visitation. The Graveside service will follow.
