Rouhollah Rohani's Obituary
Mr. Rohullah Rohani, a distinguished individual born in Tehran , Iran, in 1937 was a beacon of passion and devotion, fervently serving his Faith, family, and friends . His journey through life led him to marry Mrs.Farzaneh Zarghami at a youthful age, giving rise to a family of five, including their cherished children Neda, Omid, and Ramona.
From his earliest days, Mr. Rohani imbibed the essence of sacrificial living and service, nurtured by accompanying his parents as they embarked on pioneering services for their faith to remote Iranian villages. This noble call, echoing from the revered Guardian of the Bahai Faith, instilled in him a sense of purpose to uplift Bahai institutions and serve his fellow countrymen, often amid harsh conditions that tested his resilience.
His formative experiences in these difficult surroundings forged his character, molding him into a resolute individual who embraced a life of sacrifice, extending his kindness to family, friends, and any soul he encountered. The trials of those days also instilled in him the virtues of perseverance, fortitude, and an unwavering focus on personal growth. His ideals towered high, both for himself and those around him.
Despite modest beginnings and limited early education, Mr. Rohani's unwavering determination and unwavering willpower propelled him toward a better life both financially and socially
He ventured into business and investments, emerging as a visionary within his community at large.
His counsels were sought after, reflecting his remarkable acumen. Although perceived as steadfast, his true nature revealed a gentle and compassionate soul, ever willing to extend a helping hand.
A shining testament to his character was his business acumen, which shone forth through even in the face of financial adversity and religious persecution.
This spirit took root in his early years, spurred by a fervent desire for progress and an unyielding "can-do" attitude. His sense of responsibility extended to his family's welfare, leading him to decline participation in his father's meager grocery business in favor of pursuing his ambitions.
Determined to fulfill his aspirations, he undertook challenging roles in Iran's southern regions during the 1960s both as sales director and business development.
By the early 1970s, he franchised tire car tire fl business, which flourished through his dedication and hard work. However, the onset of the Iranian Revolution in 1979 marked a tumultuous period for Bahai communities.
Mr. Rohani's was targeted and his personal trials intensified.
Despite the tribulations brought forth by the government , his spirit remained unbreakable. He faced persecution and endured imprisonment because to his faith and success.
This hardship fueled even more his commitment to his family, friends, and homeland. Unyielding in his resolve, he rebuilt his life from scratch, embracing new business ventures and skills.
As circumstances in Iran grew increasingly challenging, he facilitated his children's journey to the United States, where he later reunited with them and his wife. Although far from home, thoughts of his homeland,Iran, remained entrenched in his heart.
In the twilight of his life, he bore the weight of personal ailments and and faced his wife's affliction with remarkable grace. His unwavering devotion was evident as he stood by her side, tending to her needs with tenderness and compassion. Even as the sands of time dwindled, he remained steadfast in his desire to keep her close, making sure of her well being.
Mr. Rohani was a towering figure, a gentle giant driven by spiritual living , diligent in his pursuits of betterment for his family , and devoted to uplifting the marginalized. Above all, his life was a testament to his devotion to Baha’u’llah, the founding prophet of the Bahai Faith.
Survived by his wife, Farzaneh, three children, Neda, Omid, and Ramona, and brother houshang Rohani as well as three grandchildren, Ava, Rex and Ivy , his legacy lives on.
This is not a good bye our dear father, grandfather, Daee joon and Amu joon, rather a reminder that is a temporary physical separation. Your beautiful and blessed spirit will move on.
As he transcends to the worlds of God beyond our understanding , may the protective mantle of Baha’u’llah forever encompass him.
