Roy Lee Penn's Obituary
Born December 25, 1920 in Checotah, Ok and passed away February 28, 2017 in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Athol Roy Penn and Mabel Battaile Penn; sister, Dolly Penn and wife Sylvia Joy Penn. He is survived by his daughters Carol and husband Darrell Lummus, Sylvia and husband Blanfard Perry, and Kay and husband William McCormick; grandchildren Maria, April, Michael, John Paul and Michael Penter; great grandchildren Caia, Penny, Trent and Jacob. Roy served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1942 – 1946 and worked for Bell Helicopter from 1954 – 1970. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Restland Memorial Parks Garden of Whispering Waters with visitation from 10:00am to 11:00 am prior to the service.
