Ruby Jean Hardy's Obituary
HARDY, RUBY JEAN, Mrs. Hardy went to be with The Lord on January 29, 2007 2007 in Tyler. She was born in Ravenna, TX on February 2, 1920 to Mr. & Mrs. Vernon Kincaid. She was a member of Rosemont Christian Church in Dallas. Her niece, Melva Jean Haley & husband, Frank had moved her to Tyler when she became ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hardy; daughter, Eugenia Hardy Rowe; and sister, Hazel Ritchie. Survivors include granddaughter, Jennifer Rowe, 2 Godsons, Edwin & George Bateman, several nieces & nephews and many friends. She did volunteer work at the Veteran’s Hospital for 50 years. She was a devout Christian, trusting in the Lord, never complaining, and was a blessing to those who knew her. Visitation will be before the service in Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX from 1PM – 2PM with funeral services at 2PM in the chapel with Don Ritchie officiating. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, TX 75701.
