Ruby Ann Klock's Obituary
Ruby Ann Klock, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2024, in Nevada, Texas. Born on November 24, 1936, in Bartlett, Texas, to Hugo and Hattie Wolf, Ruby's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and joyful moments shared with those she held dear.
Ruby's journey began alongside her loving parents and her brothers, Curtis and Howard Wolf. Her life was enriched by the love of her life, Keith Klock, whom she married on March 1, 1958, in Dallas, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and the sweet chaos of a growing family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Keith; her parents, Hugo and Hattie; and her brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Jewel Wolf, Ruby's legacy continues through her family. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Carolyn Wolf; her daughters, Rhonda Collinsworth and her husband Richard, and Sheila Allen; her five grandchildren, Laura, Chad, Taylor, Brittani, and Courtni; and her twelve great-grandchildren, Austin, Dawson, Marian, Kai, Knox, Jorge Jr, Avery, Landon, Alexis, Ethan, Ryleigh, and Brooklynn.
Ruby will be remembered for her love of reading, her skill at assembling puzzles, and her joy in playing games with her family. An avid fan of the Texas Rangers and college football, she shared her passion for sports with all who knew her. Her presence at family gatherings, her wisdom, and her gentle guidance will be profoundly missed.
A service to honor Ruby's life will be held at Restland Funeral Home, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX, 75243, on Friday, August 2, 2024, with a visitation starting an hour beforehand at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Barlett, TX.
