Ruby Lee Perry's Obituary
Our precious mother, Ruby Lee Perry, was born in Roby, Texas on May 14, 1928, and passed away on May 10, 2021 at home with family in Carrollton, Texas.
"Lee" was a Homemaker and the wife of James H (Jim) Perry for 50 years before he passed away in 1998. She was the loving mother of four children, and was a grand-mother of 6 and great-grandmother to 5. She had so very much love, strength and courage, and kindness. She had a sweet smile.
She was a prayer warrior, had a great knowledge of Bible scriptures, and everywhere she went she was telling people about Jesus.
Lee left a great legacy of helping countless people through her faith in Jesus Christ. Throughout her lifetime she was involved in several ministries, including witnessing to maximum security prisoners and holding women's prayer meetings. She told literally thousands about Jesus, and hundreds called on her to pray for them. Many people would say she was the most dedicated Prayer Warrior they had ever known.
Her children are saved because of her, and are very grateful to her for that, and all that she did for them.
She is preceded in death not only by her husband but also by her mother, Bertha Wolf Schanz and father, Reinhart Schanz and her sisters, and a nephew. She is survived by her 4 children, James, Tom, Carol and Robert (Bob)and their spouses, grandchildren, and their spouses, and greatgrandchildren, her nieces and nephews.
