Samuel Chukwuemeka Nwaefulu November 23, 1953 –December 16, 2020 Grand Prairie Texas
The Nwaefulu Family of Udo Village of Ubulu-Ukwu Kingdom of Delta State Nigeria, announce the passing of their most cherished son, Samuel (aka Bala) Chukwuemeka Nwaefulu born November 23, 1953 in Vom, Plateau State who transitioned to the Lord at home peacefully on December 16th, 2020 surrounded and held by his loving family.
Samuel holds a BSC in Telecommunication Management, licenses in Flight Dispatch and Air traffic control. He spent his early career years in Nigerian Airways before relocating to the US where he continued his career with LSG Sky chefs where he was until he retired on December 1, 2020 after a 32 year career.
He was a generous and kind gentleman who had a deep love for God, his family, his colleagues at LSG Sky Chefs, the Ubulu Ukwu USA community, and his Church community especially his spiritual fathers –Reverend Lobsang and Beryl Avah and Prophet and Mrs. Elijah Del Klomega. Samuel loved all things aviation, mathematics and calculus and his 3 children are a product of such deep love as each one of them have Engineering degrees that are related to aeronautics.
Sam was preceded in death by his father Chief Daniel Edeh Nwaefulu and daughter Alexandra Anwuli Nwaefulu. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Regina Adafor Nwaefulu, beloved wife of 28 years Mrs. Sophie Isioma Nwaefulu (Oliaku Sam), son Eng. Kelly Onochie Nwaefulu, daughter Eng. Camille Isioma Nwaefulu, son Eng. Deion Chukwuemeka Nwaefulu and godchildren Chief Kenneth Nwaefulu. Ms. Isioma Emordi and Charlton Nwaefulu.
He leaves behind his brothers Chief Emanuel Nwaefulu, Mr. Japheth Nwaefulu and Mr. Michael Fidelis-Nwaefulu and Sisters Mrs. Victoria Amadi Emina, Mrs. Christy Aisha Bako, Mrs. Philippa Okafor, Ms. Stella Nwaefulu, Mrs. Florence Uwachie, Ms. Evelyn Nwaefulu and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunties.
Viewing and Funeral services will be held on tentatively on January 15th and 16th at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas Texas 75243. His remain will be interred tentatively on February 5TH at Ubulu Ukwu Kingdom, Delta State Nigeria.
