Mrs. Wilgus was the most thoughtful person I think I have ever known. When I was a teenager having trouble with parents divorcing, friends, school, etc. and she was just “the neighbor lady across the alley”, she did something I will never forget. She mailed me a card encouraging me to “hang on” and told me that things will be okay. In my stormy little teenage world, an adult neighbor taking time to send me this card with words of encouragement was a huge deal. I did not feel so alone. Thank you for giving me that peace, even if just for a day. You all are in my prayers and I am hoping you find the same peace your sweet mom gave me so many years ago..
