Sharron Nannette Fieger's Obituary
FIEGER, SHARRON NANNETTE (WAHL), 74, of Garland, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, May 19, 2008. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Sharron was born in Junction City, Kansas on August 10, 1933 to Otto and Alice (Gleason) Wahl and graduated from Alta Vista High School in Alta Vista, Kansas. She married Keith Fieger on September 8, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas. After her children were grown, she returned to work and later retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Keith, and brother, Winton Wahl. Survivors left to cherish her memory are daughters, Kristi Morrow, and husband, Kyle, of Garland, Texas, Sheri Strong, and husband, Mike, of Lewisville, Texas, and sons, Mitchell and Brett Fieger, both of Garland, Texas, sister, Barbara Richards, of Pomona, Kansas, brother-in-law, Frank Fieger, and brother-in-law, Richard Fieger, and wife, Laura, of Topeka, Kansas, and sister-in-law, Suzanne Wahl, of Spring, Texas. She had six grandchildren, Laura McBride and husband, Tony, of Waco, Texas, Joshua Gunter and wife, Jennifer, and Stacey Pierce and husband, Jon, of Garland, Texas, Lisa Bryant and fiance, Thomas Fry, of Royse City, Texas, and Christopher and Kelley Strong of Lewisville, Texas. Sharron left five great-grandchildren, Megan Gunter, Rene Gunter, Abigail Bryant, Jacob Gunter and Hayden Gunter. Sharron was a member of Peace Lutheran Church for over 34 years and was active on numerous committees. She was loved and respected by many friends and will be dearly missed by them. Her family and friends look forward to the day they will be reunited with her in paradise. Funeral services were held on May 24, 2008 in Topeka, Kansas. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 2929 S. First St., Garland, Texas.
