I met Shirley through TOPS… she was always such fun but when we were working an event she wanted everything to go perfectly!! At our Oklahoma State Convention one year she was dressed up and suddenly looked down at her shoes and while they were the same shoe …one was black and the other one was blue!!!! We never let her live that one down!! I will miss her sweet smile and her laughter!

Shirley was one of my very dearest and best friends. I loved her like another sister. We had so many happy times together with our boys in school. She shared love and kindness to everyone she met. She was a strong leader. Even though I moved from Dallas Six plus years ago, we still kept in touch with calls and letters and cards. I will forever miss her sweetness and her love. I thank The Lord for all the wonderful years we shared fun, good food and times of laughter and sadness. She was a Rock of a friend. Thank you Lord for my sweet friend.
