Jim And Dodie Tunnell
You left earlier from life’s party than me (and that was not supposed to happen).
You were always in shape and “ready to go” for the next adventure. Our plans for future quail hunts (with Hope) will have to be played out in my imagination now (with memories of you blowing your whistle at Lucy to keep her from running off to Lowake chasing a random bird). We will miss your smile, your sense of humor and your dog whisper skills (including naps on the grass with Lucy, Sully and Duke laying on your chest). We will miss you most around the campfire, when your skill at memorizing the words to hundreds of songs was evident, as the rest of us only chimed in for the refrain. Our experiences with you are irreplaceable. You were “one of a kind” and a true friend to my family. We will never forget you.
