Obituary
Sybil S. Sullivan, born in August 1922, passed into the arms of Jesus on March 16 at 100 years old. Her parents, Tomas and Caroline (Urbanek) Mikus were born in Czechoslovakia, and came to the states when they were young. Sybil was raised in Taylor, Texas, with six sisters and two brothers. All preceded her in death. Sybil moved to San Antonio during World War II, meeting the love of her life, Bob Sullivan, and married him in 1946. The family moved to Dallas in 1963 where she and Bob enjoyed many dances at the North Dallas Elks Lodge before he passed in 1999. Sybil had a great life in the greatest time the USA has known. She was a stay-at-home mother to two daughters. Barbara passed at the age of 25. Yvonne and husband, Bob Killian, live in Garland. Sybil’s funeral was Monday, March 20. The reception will be Sunday, March 26, at Restland Funeral Home at 2:00.
