Sylva June Hardin's Obituary
HARDIN, SYLVA JUNE born June 4, 1931 in Hendersonville, NC passed from this life and is at peace after her long journey. Sylva was brought home by her family this Mother’s Day to spend her final days at home. It was a joyous homecoming surrounded by family love, laughter and happiness. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Edward Everett Hardin III, her parents, and 5 brothers and sisters. She is survived by 3 children, Edward Everett Hardin IV and his wife Claudia, Greg Hardin, Beth Kassul and her husband Bill; 9 grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Wesley, Andrea, Tyler, Lauren, Haylie, Everett, Jenna, Cara and Cole and brothers, Emil Smith and Gene Smith. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM, prior to the service. Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with interment to be in the Garden of Prayer alongside her husband, Edward.
