TORRES, SYLVIA ARISTA Born November 3, 1952 in Dallas, TX and passed away July 15, 2008 in Lewisville, TX. Sylvia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Anna Arista. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Cruz Torres, Jr.; sons, Cruz, III and Casey Elijah, daughter, Cecilia; granddaughter, Kayden Alana; father, Placido Arista; mother, Gloria Diaz; brothers, Placido Arista, Jr. and Thomas Arista and numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, July 18, 2008 at Covenant Church, 2644 E. Trinity Mills Road, Carrollton, TX 75006.
