Tasha Marie Langton's Obituary
A beautiful spirit has left our world. Tasha Marie Langton passed away on May 7th at the age of 41. She is now at peace and will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved her. Tasha was born in Dallas, Texas on July 31, 1973. On September 2, 1989, Tasha was blessed with the birth of her sweet baby girl Ariana. She met the love of her life & her other half, Todd Langton and they married on November 16, 1991. Together they had three sons and raised four incredible children. Tasha, aka Mimi, was a doting grandmother. Before her years as a homemaker in Rowlett, Texas, Tasha took great pride in her work as a loan processor in the mortgage industry. She loved her work and was consistently being promoted until she decided to stay at home with her family. Tasha will lovingly be remembered as a vibrant, colorful person that danced in the rain to the beat of her own drum. She brought so much laughter and love to those around her and provided refuge to those in need. She always gave so much of herself to make others happy. She is preceded in death by her grandfather Malcolm Rogers, grandmother Juanita Marie Rogers and father Isiah Austin, Jr. She is survived by her devoted husband, Todd Langton, four beautiful children: Ariana, Christian, Austin and Brendan Langton and two sweet grandchildren Adrian and Alia. She is also survived by her mothers Deborah Marie Rogers, and Terry Powell, brother Joshua Edlin, sister Sonia Rogers and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and dear friends that are considered as family. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. The address is 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. The service to celebrate Tasha’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 12 at 2:30 pm in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In honor of Tasha’s wishes, a cremation will follow.
