Teresa Marie Ringo's Obituary
RINGO, TERESA MARIE DORRIS 45, died July 28, 2012 with her family by her side in Libertyville, IL. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 31, at 6:00PM, visitation from 5:00 until time of service at Iglesia Bautista Gran Comision, 12710 W. Southview Ave., Waukegan, IL with Rev. Tim Hartford officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 2, 10:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park. She was born June 7, 1967 in Longview, WA to James and Betty Dorris. She graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1985 after which she attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. She met her husband, Price Ringo, in Dallas, TX and married in 1996. Teresa was an elementary school teacher, leaving the profession to home school their children, which was very important to her. Church, family and friends were Teresa’s top priorities. She grew up among a large family in Washington, spending countless hours and holidays playing with her cousins, laughing and enjoying life. She was an active member of the First Southern Baptist Church Waukegan, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She loved the outdoors and playing games, enjoyed debating political issues and staying on top of current events. Teresa is survived by her husband, Price Ringo; children: John, Rachel and Rebecca Ringo; parents, James and Betty Dorris; brother, Tim Dorris. She was deeply loved and will be very much missed.
