My sweet best friend, We had some good times through the years. If I wasn't keeping your kids, you were keeping mine. Our friend Joe kept us fed when we lived at the Duck Creek Apartments. He'd bring over lobster, crab legs, quail, turkeys, and other frozen meat for us. We also used to slam down the Amaretto Sours. We drank a lot of them. I had Amaretto empty bottles everywhere in the apartment. We used to go to Faces and dance especially on Tuesday nights because bar drinks were .50 or $1.00 I can't remember which. One night when I had too much to drink and when we got to my apartment you and Karen had a hard time taking off my jumpsuit, and I threw up all over the place. I was so glad that we quit drinking. My dear Toni, Do you remember when we used to go to the Flare? When Love Street Journal was playing, during intermission, I would slow dance with Ricky Butler. I had a crush on him at John B. Hood. In elementary school, my crush was on Bobby Parks but he didn't know that. Girl, I miss you so much. I'm lost without you. Love, Tonya

Toni, I miss you so much. Remember Candy's Flare. We used to go there and you would sneak in a bottle of Cherry Slow Gin and we would add it to our cokes, and no one knew but us. Also when Love Street Journal played there, during intermission, I would dance with Ricky Butler. I had a crush on him. You had a crush on Marshall Tidwell. You just wouldn't let Marshall go. You remained his friend until he passed. Remember when you were going with Carter Clark, and he would drive 110 mph going down Bruton in his yellow GTO. That one time he let me drive it while you and him were in the back seat making out. One Sunday when I asked you to gp tp church with me and you had to try on all your dresses to see which one was the longest. I have a picture of us. Do you remember when we went to the Longhorn Ballroom with your parents. Your dad insisted that I dance with him. I told him I did not know how to, but he pulled me on the dance room and tried to make me dance, but I just couldn't do it. So he said you're right you can't dance go sit down. Then he pulled you up and you could dance great with your dad. Your mother and father could really cut a rug. How about all the sleep overs we had. It was you, me, Nita, Lira, Lynn. I don't remember if Denise was there or not. Do you remember the weekend we went to see Nita. We had a good time. Nita had made tee-shirts for us. They were black and she had taken bright colors and wrote all kinds of neat stuff on them. They even had our names on them, and we rode horses for a long time. I still have my tee-shirt but of course it's too little. I miss our talks for hours when something was bothering you. Remember when I left Danny and me and the boys moved in with you in your house in Mesquite. Then not too long I moved out and you moved in with me in my apartment at Duck Creek Apts. We had a lot of good times and bad times. I wish you were still here for me. I love you like a sister and I'll miss you forever but I'll never forget about you. I have to write about the stuff we did to be able to handle that you won't be here with me. Tonya

My dear best friend, Today is the day we usually talk. So now I don't have anyone to talk to. Do you remember when I asked you to go to church with me? You said if I can find a longer dress. You found one and went to church with me. I miss you soooo much. I didn't think I would ever have to be without you. I love you my sister. Here I am at work just crying while I type out this message. I'll never get over you because we've been best friends for so long. I don't think we ever had a fight that I can remember. I love you always.

To a Lady, that I met, it seems like yesterday but it was eight to nine months ago. I am so glad, we met and I was able to bring sunshine in her life. Bible Study, she loved to sing. In her last days she was betrayed, let down. I let her know that we all have those problems, Thursday, we were at a little restaurant eating, we were talking, she started crying. Friday, we went to Forney to Assisted Living, then to eat. I went out of town about 5:30. She was walking her dog. Toni, I told you Thursday, that God has your back when you are down and don't know what to do, he still got your back. Just reading your FB, I did not know you were that sick. But I wondered, why you cried so much. Father God, in the Name of Jesus, please honor my friend in to Heaven no matter what happen in her younger years, older years count, Toni, sing withall those Angel.

Toni would sing at the restaurant we all went to and she sang beautifully. Sure missed her when she wasn't able to come anymore. Gone but not forgotten! R.I.P. Toni! I know you're singing with the angels now. Condolences to the family and friends.

Toni, You are an amazing woman. You lived life with such fire, yet grace. You seemed to attract people with life troubles, and you loved them unconditionally. You accepted so many people as family, and loved us unconditionally. My Daddy was your Daddy, and you loved him unconditionally. You made a beautiful home, that was always open to anyone at any time. You found out you had breast cancer and you faced it with Strength, Will, and Grace. You lost all your hair, but you made sure you had your full make up on at all times. You were one sexy bald woman. You were the life of the party. You were creative and crafty. You had a smile and a laugh that was contagious. You were an amazing poet. You loved animals. And Most importantly, you loved the LORD. Everything you did you did BIG! You had a BIG HEART that will be greatly Missed. Thank you for being my sister, an amazing Aunt to Blake and Bryce. I love you my fiery Red Head my Betty BOOP!
