I met cute little Trina at Heritage Senior Activity Center about 4 years ago. She was a sweet,sweet lady and I loved her. I had not seen her for awhile when she was away from Heritage in therapy. I did go see her Friday at Hearthstone and told her who I was and that I loved her and missed her,I believe she understood. My love,support,and prayers to her family and friends. Carolyn

My family and I are going to miss my grandmother Trina very much. I have so many fond childhood memories of spending time with her here in Chicago, and grownup ones visiting her in Las Vegas and Irving. She was a wonderful woman, always on the go, always wanting to take care of others before herself and always wanting to feed us. I will miss her dearly but am glad she is at peace and is with my dad and aunt. Not only was she a great grandmother to my daughters Angel and Rose, she was a great-great grandmother to my grandchildren (Gabriel, Isaac and Lily) but she only met Gabriel the oldest. She was a tiny but strong woman who passed on her spirit and passion to all her grandchildren. Grandma, you were loved and will be missed everyday. Trina was the best mother-in-law in the world. I will miss her very much. I had the pleasure of Trina living with my wife and me for 5 years. She was welcomed to live there forever had it been her wish. I knew Trina for over 50 years and she was always a wonderful women. She was like a second mother even before her daughter and I started a relationship. I remember Trina catching my cousin and me in the hallway and asking us to come in to eat. She will be missed but very well remembered. I will miss talking to her on the phone. I will miss teasing her. We had a very good and close relationship. I remember one time we where in my car driving and the engin died. The first word out of my mother where, Trina you have to get out and push. Her reaction was very funny. On her 80th birthday her two daughters decided to throw a suprise birthday party for her. I had a very large motorcycle and I was always teasing her about taking a ride, which she always responded with a sound No. Well one day I got her to wear a leather motorcycle jacket. Put a helmet on her and put her on the bike with her holding the handle bars. I took a picture of her. Well for her birthday party I took that picture and had it put on the birthday cake. It was a great hit with everyone who saw it. Like I said I will miss her very much but will always communicate with her in my head.

Mom, you will be missed by all who loved you. I have many wonderful memories of you. You were always such a bundle of energy. You were the perfect mother, and perfect mother in law. Always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone lucky enough to be loved by you. I am honored and proud to have known you. You will be missed by many. I love you. Marcia My favorite memory of you is when you would stand in front of the TV with a dish towel in your hands, watching John Wayne movies. You would sigh and whisper, "Oh Duke, Duke" ?? you had a dreamy look on your face. It was very precious.
