Troy Pruitt's Obituary
PRUITT, TROY passed away on June 20, 2014 in Ponder, Texas. Troy was born on June 29, 1928 in Blackgum, Oklahoma to Ivey and Opal Pruitt. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy Pruitt; his mother and father, Ivey and Opal Pruitt; brothers, Carl Pruitt and Jimmy Pruitt; sisters, Bessie Pruitt, Lucille Butterfield and Lois Bervel; and one precious granddaughter, Rebecca Pruitt. Troy is survived by sons, Darrell Wayne Pruitt and his wife, Cindy, Michael Lynn Pruitt, Mark Alan Pruitt and his wife, Karla, Kevin Ray Pruitt and his wife, Vicky; daughter, Debra Lee Matthews and her husband, Eugene; sisters, Pearl McDonald, Dorothy Davis; brothers, Donald Pruitt, George Pruitt, Loye Pruitt; thirteen grandchildren, Jeremy Pruitt, John Pruitt, Jay Alexander, Mandy Outlaw, Michelle Paris, Kely Pruitt, Nicholas Pruitt, Andrew Pruitt, Bethanie Pruitt, Daniel Pruitt, Lydia Pruitt, Jenna Pruitt, Troy Pruitt II; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and too many wonderful friends to count. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
