Preceded in death by parents, John C. and Cora Nettie (Davis) Sewell; sisters, Lorene Wells, Irelera (Sewell) Ambrose, Mary Lou (Sewell) Hull; brother, Andrew Sewell. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Frank C. Phillips; daughter, Sue (Phillips) Williams; sons, Bobby Phillips of Frisco, TX, Jerry Phillips of Topeka, Kansas, James Phillips of Rockwall, TX, David Phillips of Union Valley, TX., son in laws, Charlie Williams, daughter in laws, Shirley (Langston) Phillips of Frisco, TX, Jane (Scarbrough) Phillips of Topeka, Kansas, Cheryl (Durham) Phillips of Rockwall, TX, Suzanne (Tackett) Phillips; grandchildren; Tammy (Williams) Wyrick of Grand Prairie, TX, Colleen (Phillips) Jetton of McGaheysville, VA, Eric Williams of Summerlin, NV., Bryan Phillips of Topeka, Kansas, Marc Phillips of Dallas, TX, Brandon Phillips of Abilene, TX, Taylor Phillips of Addison, TX, Preston Phillips of Union Valley, TX, Grayson Phillips of Union Valley, TX; great grandchildren; Justin Stevens, Tiffany Stevens, Rheannon Jetton, Maryn Phillips, Kylie Phillips, Brinley Jetton, Reese Phillips, Easton Phillips; step grandchildren; Miranda Ross, Brittany Ross, Valerie (Stevens) Butler, Britni (Stevens) Jackson; step great grandchildren; Jordan Jones, Braylon Jones, Reed Douglas Butler, Kason Merritt, Eli Jackson. There are many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends surviving her outside her immediate family. Family will receive friends on June 28th, 2016 from 6 -8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on June 29th, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Restland Abbey Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Truby E. Phillips.
