Tungwen Weng's Obituary
Mr. Tungwen Weng, age 97, of Richardson, TX passed away peacefully at 8:26 AM on Wednesday July 18, 2018, in Richardson, Texas. He was born on Monday, January 3, 1921, to his loving and thoughtful mother Cheng Weng in China. Tungwen Weng married Wening Hsu on June 24, 1951 in Taiwan. Tungwen was an Army man for 40 years, he served in the Army as a Deputy Commander from June 15, 1970. He is survived by, his wife Wening Weng, Richardson, TX. Daughters: Betty Weng, Irvine, CA and Angela Shen, Brea CA, Sons: Julian Weng, Richardson, TX, Michael Weng, Plano, TX and Tom Weng, Rochester Hills, MI. Tungwen will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him. The family request that visiting hours be observed at Restland Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday July 27, 2018. A funeral service for Mr. Weng will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday July 28, 2018 at the Restland Memorial Chapel Funeral arrangements for Mr. Tungwen Weng have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
