Virgene Tilley's Obituary
Virgene (Gina) Tilley, age 88, was born to Virgil Allen and Geni Womack in Chickasha, Oklahoma on June 5, 1931. She passed on the morning of Monday, June 10, 2019 in Dallas, Texas peacefully in her sleep. Gina married Ronald Mahan in 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas. She married Wesley Gene Tilley in th 70’s in Dallas, Texas. Gina was an AT&T phone operator for 20+ years. Afterwards, she was a successful real estate lady with several rent houses. Preceded in death by her daughters Marilyn Mahan Parrish and Marlene Mahan, their father Ronald Mahan, second husband Gene Tilley, granddaughter Theresa King McCormick, and brother Ronnie Allen. Survived by daughter Michelle Mahan of Dallas, Texas, granddaughter Christen King of Dallas, Texas, sister Carole Wills of Farmers Branch, Texas, and brother Danny Allen (Marilyn) of Dallas, Texas.Funeral service will be on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel.John 14:27: I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart.
